The P&G Children's Safe Drinking Water Program

The Power of Clean Water

P&G Children’s Safe Drinking Water (CSDW) is a signature global program within P&G’s philanthropic health and hygiene efforts. Founded in 2004, the program has provided clean water in more than 75 countries and helped to raise awareness of the clean water crisis through a diverse network of 150 partners.

Clean water has the power not only to save lives, but to transform them. The power of clean water can keep children healthy, so they can grow strong and attend school, and can enable parents to be healthy so they can create work to create a better life for their families.

To date, P&G has delivered over 9 billion liters of clean drinking water. Our goal is to deliver 15 billion liters by 2020. By expanding CSDW’s reach, P&G is committed to fighting the clean water crisis in partnership with NGOs, governments, companies and consumers.

To date, P&G has invested over $50 million toward clean drinking water, including its technical expertise, financial investment, human resources, and manufacturing facilities to support the CSDW Program.
